I had an affair in August 2012. I thought I’d write about how I’ve felt since, why I did it, the effect it has had on my wife, myself, my family and friends. My aim is to get people to think again before they do something so incredibly destructive. My wife, Bubsy, has input by way of reply.

Found your blog because I think your wife found mine. I look forward to reading your posts. I agree with you that affairs are far more complicated as to the “why” then merely “you were offered sex and took it.” Everything I’ve read says that men and women largely have affairs for the same reason, and it’s rarely centered around sex. But that aside, I hope my blog might be of interest to you too. Cheers.
